The Dark World is an open-world survival horror RPG set in 2026, twenty-four years after the Great Purge. Humanity still lives behind walls, patrols old roads, trades beneath warning sirens, and tells itself that the worst is over. It isn’t.

Beyond the cities, ancient bloodlines are moving again. Dravenn return beneath frozen skies. Lykar packs reclaim forests and mountain territory. The hidden Veyra preserve rituals and knowledge that survived long before modern institutions began recording the supernatural. Hunters, Guardians, researchers and secret orders all pursue their own version of the truth.

At the center of it all stands Panonia: a world of abandoned settlements, fortified cities, forgotten churches, military ruins, forests, railways and places that have disappeared from official maps.

Survival is more than hunger and ammunition. Different creatures react to the world in different ways. Vampires fear sunlight, ultraviolet light and consecrated ground. Lykar can track scent, pursue prey and be distracted through their instincts. The world changes after dark, and the same road can become something very different once the sun disappears.

The Dark World does not divide its history neatly into heroes and monsters. Every faction carries its own wounds, loyalties and version of what happened before the Great Purge.

A Novel from The Dark World

Across centuries, seven places were marked by events history never fully explained.

Different cultures gave the woman at their center different names. Some called her a demon. Others described a grieving mother, a night spirit, a curse, a blasphemy or something for which their language had no proper word. The records rarely agreed on what she was. They agreed on what followed.

The Seven Red Witnesses is a supernatural horror novel set within the canon of The Dark World. Its story moves between modern Panonia and seven historical cases reconstructed from damaged archives, religious records, survivor testimony, folklore and the Book of Blood, an ancient account written by the Veyra healer Morgana.

Each Witness belongs to a different century and a different human catastrophe. Pride. Greed. Lust. Envy. Gluttony. Wrath. Sloth. At first, months pass between the first signs of her presence and the dead. Then weeks. Then days.

By the seventh record, the distance can be measured in hours. And somewhere beneath Panonia, an ancient prison is beginning to fail.

The novel draws from real historical periods, folklore, religious traditions and documented fears, while its supernatural history remains fiction. Rather than rewriting the past, The Seven Red Witnesses explores the spaces where surviving records become incomplete, contradictory or silent.

From the sorrowful rage of Khali’a in What Hunger Took, to the cursed rebirth of Alaric in Echoes of the Undone, to the violent harmony of Aria and Kaida’s forbidden bond in Bite the Flame, these tracks are designed to immerse players in the emotional core of the narrative.

Some songs are whispered elegies. Others are defiant metal anthems. All are canon.

The Crimson Litany grows with the game, new songs are released as the story unfolds, each one unlocking hidden meaning and deepening the world’s mythology. Whether heard in the background of a quest, found as lyrics in an ancient ruin, or played during the credits of a boss fight, these compositions bleed directly into the veins of the experience.
