Developer Update: Patch 0.2.9 Delayed and What’s Next for The Dark World: Edge of Eternity
Dear players,
We want to take a moment to address an important update regarding the development of The Dark World: Edge of Eternity. Unfortunately, we are unable to deliver Patch 0.2.9 on the originally scheduled date of January 15, 2025.
The transition from Unreal Engine 4 to Unreal Engine 5 has proven to be more challenging than anticipated. As a solo developer, these hurdles have required extra time and care to ensure the game maintains the quality you expect and deserve. I sincerely apologize for the delay and kindly ask for your understanding as we work to bring you the best possible experience.
That being said, we’re excited to announce that Patch 0.9.0 will now be released on February 15, 2025. Following this patch, we plan to roll out a series of updates with bug fixes and new content to lay the groundwork for Patch 0.3.0, which will introduce the highly anticipated new race: vampires.
With Patch 0.2.9, we’re introducing exciting updates and improvements to The Dark World: Edge of Eternity that will not only enhance the gameplay experience but also set the stage for future content and features. Here’s what’s coming:

– Human Zones: Normal weather changes.
– Werewolf Zones: Foggy and atmospheric.
– Vampire Zones: Extreme cold with heavy snow and low visibility for an added challenge. - First-Person View
